Hi there, we are from Ukraine!

Before the all-out invasion, we ran businesses and launched startups, so we have strong digital and management skills. Now we use these skills to help Ukrainians survive this difficult time.

Medical help

Organization of medical care

Most doctors evacuated from the frontline and de-occupied territories. Hospitals are overloaded with wounded soldiers. Pharmacies don't work. There is no transportation.

But people still live there, and they have many medical problems. We organize family doctor consultations so people can get recommendations, referrals to specialists or hospitalizations and prescriptions for medicines, and help with transfer for hospitalization and medical evacuations.

Invincibility centre

Bakery and invincibility centre

We continue to help people in the liberated territories of the Donetsk region. In addition to the shelter, we bought a generator in Poland and created our own centre of invincibility for residents. It is warm there, and there is firewood and a big stove. So people can charge phones and flashlights and even turn on the TV there.

Also, some days of the week, a small local bakery works. The logistics to the liberated territories of the Donetsk region are complicated, so no one takes fresh products to them. But thanks to the bakery, people can have some warm bread.

We thank the YouTube channel SlivkiShow for the financial support.

Since January 2022

Emergency rebuilding

Quick window repair

We started a pilot project in the de-occupied village of Drobyshevo. After each shelling, a lot of houses have broken windows and doors. In the winter, when there are frosts, warmth in the house is an opportunity to survive and not get sick. So we support local volunteers who cover broken windows and help older people quickly close holes after explosions to keep warm and survive the winter.

Since January 2022

Shelter

Shelter for grandmothers

We opened a shelter for single grandmothers in the Donetsk region in the liberated territories. Almost all buildings there are partially or fully destroyed. People last had electricity, water, or gas in the spring. It is unlikely that they will have it in the coming months. The grandmothers, who have lived there and worked in the same community, don't want to evacuate. They say: "I'd rather freeze and die than be miserable somewhere."

Good neighbours came up with the idea of gathering such grandmothers and organizing a warm shelter. We couldn't help but support such an initiative when we heard about the concept. So the next day, with the financial support of the YouTube channel SlivkiShow, we already bought and delivered to them all the critical things needed to start work, as well as supplies of food and water.

They still need firewood, a generator, and a radio. Organize clothes and shoes. We are working on it. We are glad that people on the local level are self-organizing, showing leadership and creating such projects. Later with the help of Kyiv Defenders, we supplied the shelter with warm clothes, and the "Salvation Angels" helped us to get a ton of pellets (firewood), so the shelter would be warm.

Angelina Jolie post about Ukrainian NGOs

"National NGOs in Ukraine have only received 0.003% of funds raised internationally. This model has to change to more direct support for local organizations. This strengthens civil society, gives more self-determination to local communities, and ensures all funds from donations go to support the local economy. Local organizations with teams from the communities they represent offer the most effective, dignified and sustainable way to support communities dealing with trauma and recovering from war, displacement and climate change."

Two ambulances for Regional Disaster Response Teams

    Done

    17 000 €

Regional Disaster Response Teams in Dnipro and Kryvyj Rih need two ambulances for evacuation. There are a lot of requests for the transportation of the wounded and seriously ill people. They need medical assistance and special conditions for transportation that can be provided in ambulances.
