Humanitarian aid to the Sviatohirska Lavra
22.12.22
People from the city live there, children study at school, and the Lavra also helps the locals. They can go there if needed.
In Sviatohirsk-Tetyanivka (the village nearby), the consequences of the occupation are evident. 80-90% have been destroyed. There are almost no undamaged houses. But thanks to help from organizations and volunteers, people are strong in spirit.
An oxygen condenser for a boy
19.12.22
We delivered the oxygen condenser to the boy in the Mykolaiv region. "Grateful" fund found and purchased it for a 10-year-old boy with the support of good people. The condenser cost was extremely high for the family, so they couldn't buy a new one. The fund was able to satisfy the request in two weeks. And we were happy to deliver it personally.
He must be connected and breathe through a machine most of the day. His device has been working for six years, and the child has grown out of it. Besides, it does not provide the oxygen level to maintain sufficient saturation. We checked the new condenser immediately, and it worked perfectly. The saturation rose to 100 in a minute, which never happened with the old device.
We also found the necessary medicines for the boy, which were in deficit. So the family have supplies for 3-4 months now.
Humanitarian aid for the de-occupied territories
11.12.22
We visited the de-occupied territories of Lyman and the village of Drobyshevo. There is still nothing there (light, gas, water, electricity, etc.), and not a single store is open yet.
People survive only on the help brought by volunteers. We thank the YouTube channel SlivkiShow, which helped us buy products, meat, sweets, cereals, oil, tea/coffee and hygiene products. So people got the most necessary things and won't be hungry today, and most importantly—they felt support and joy from Ukrainian-speaking volunteers, which is so important in eastern Ukraine now.
The number of people who stayed in the de-occupied territories at a distance of 3-20 km from the front line is always a shock: women, children and grandmothers. And every time we worry about not having enough products because there are so many people.
Medical aid for the Donetsk region
10.12.22
This week we went to the Donetsk region with medical aid for hospitals. We did this mission with the help of the funds "Vdiachni", "Tam De Zhive Nadiya" and Post Angels Lviv.
We collected surgical kits, oxygen masks and oxygen tubes, dressing materials, medical clothes, diapers and other useful items in Lviv and thought about how to drive it to Dnipro. There was an option to take it all by car, but it cost about UAH 10,000 for fuel. Buy the entire train compartment — UAH 1,250. 16 hours and the humanitarian, along with the volunteer, is already in the Dnipro.
In Dnipro, we loaded medicines and other useful goods for hospitals in our ambulance and took them to Chasiv Yar, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk and Lyman. We thank the funds that do great work, collect humanitarian aid and help our people in the frontline area.
Medical supplies
25.11.22
Our volunteer from Norway brought a new set of medical supplies
Medical aid to Kramatorsk
16.08.22
While our volunteer Medic from Norway was home between the missions, he fundraised a lot of medical aid for Ukrainian hospitals.
There was a lot of need for neurosurgeons, abdominal surgery and suturing of anastomoses, including chest tubes, dialysis sets, sets for laparoscopic operations, etc. The total cost of everything was about 50,000 euros.
We've delivered aid to all the hospitals of Kramatorsk, directly to the leading doctors. To say that everyone was happy is a huge understatement. Many thanks to Simon and Norway!
Medical aid for Sloviansk
25.07.22
Our team with the charity foundation "Vdyachni" bring the full ambulance of medical aid to Sloviansk. We delivered the needed to Emergency Department, Mechnikov Hospital, Sloviansk Hospital and Petropavlovsk hospital. On the way back, we will also take a patient from there.
